Time – or rather the measurement of the passing of it – is another of the fundamental constructs us humans use to make sense of our world and, just as importantly, organise what we do in it, when, and in what order. The calendar system (with it’s many physical incarnations from simple printed wall hangings, to more sophisticated forms of  diarieschronicles, to neolithic stone circles) is the fundamental tool we have invented that creates the shared knowledge framework that allows time to be broken down (or gathered up) into human-sized, hierarchical chunks – the annual cycle of years upwards into decades & centuries, or downwards into quarters, months & days, and the daily cycle of days upwards into weeks, months & years, or downwards into hours, minutes & seconds – and within which the different strands of our indivdual & collective lives can be planned, scheduled, recorded, managed, executed and, most importantly, celebrated 🙂

Our range of calendar knowledge maps of generic, past, present and future years – with or without contextual knowledge elements (calendar grids, tags and knowledge resource links) embedded within, or attached to, the month & day branches, or additional sub-branches for 500+ annually recurring, internationally (and nationally) significant events complete with multiple links to public domain knowledge resources about them – provide an alternative, visually structured, ‘rich’ knowledge framework to help users keep track of, plan and manage, their own time and everything that is, was, may be, or may not be, happening in their lives….

Think of the usefulness of your existing calendar but with the added ‘thumb & brain friendly’ versatility and unlimited canvas of a MindManger map, where you can add your own events or musings ‘on the hoof’ – along with links to associated documents and knowledge resources – as well as create time lines for planning the future or archiving / chronicling the past (down to the nearest second if you wish!). All whilst never losing sight of the ‘big picture’.

Read on to find out more about the features of our Knowledge Calendar maps, the differences between the different calendar maps in our range, and details of all the calendar maps currently available to buy.

Features Of Our Knowledge Calendar Maps

MindManager has many unique ‘information cartography’ features that we take full advantage of when creating our unique maps. We call them ‘knowledge maps’ because these features enable us to capture and encode 1000’s of individual ‘bits’ of knowledge within them, through visual formatting of map branches, and / or by embedding them within map branches as variably formatted (‘rich’) text, and unique & bespoke icon images, and components of spreadsheets / charts or single data filedsand / or attaching them as notes, marker tags and internal & external hyperlinks.

All these elements are combined by us in different ways to create versatile, intuitive to navigate Knowledge Calendar maps that provide a rich ‘base level’ of contextual knowledge & knowledge resource links about every day of every month of the specified & generic years, that not only can be turned to multiple purposes, but are single files that can also be easily shared, archived and retrieved….

The main features of our Knowledge Calendar Maps are as follows.…

Note that not all features are present in each type of map, and that each map includes a MAP LEGEND that fully describes all the features that make it up.

Big Map With 100's Of Branches & Links And Capacity For Plenty More

MindManager maps can have 1000’s of branches without affecting the map ‘performance’ when viewed, either in MindManager software, or in a browser (the exported HTML version). Thus mapping 12 months + 365 days of the year + 100’s of publicly significant events is ‘a skoosh‘ (as we say in Scotland ;-), with plenty of spare capacity for users to add their own content on top of ours.

Note that the biggest knowledge map we have created so far without it ‘falling over’ has 60,000+ branches – which is more than enough for us to knowledge map the whole Solar System let alone all the Countries of the World – so users can be fairly confident that our calendar maps will be able to handle most situations thrown at them 🙂

Grid Style Layout Enables 'Thumb Friendly' Browsing & Ease Of Use

All our Knowledge Calendar maps share the same physical structure. There are 12 main map branches for the months of the year, each with 28-31 sub-branches for each day of the month, all arranged in an ‘organisation map & vertical tree’ (‘Org-Tre’) layout to form the familiar calendar ‘grid’. This….

  • ‘packs as much in’ to a single screen view as possible.
  • minimises the amount of user scrolling to access the content as branches expand vertically down only (rather than horizontally across and vertically down as in a ‘traditional’ radial map layout).
  • makes for much more ‘thumb & brain friendly browsing’, especially on small screens.

.
In terms of logical layout, by default the month main branches ar arranged from January on the left to December on the right, but MindManager users are free to re-arrange them and ‘mix and match’ content from other maps if appropriate to build their own ‘academic year’ or ‘business year’ calendar as required….

Knowledge Is Visually Encoded & Conveyed In Multiple Ways

As mentioned already MindManager has many ‘information cartography channels’ available to capture, encode, and visually convey knowledge about the building blocks of our world and the knowledge resources about them (which are on top of the range of physical & logical layouts of the branches themselves). Features such as…..

Colour of the branch fill and / or text

Outline Shape of branches

Rich (variably formatted) branch text label

Unique branch image

Note with any additional information

Embedded Data elements….

/ Spreadsheet Table /  Chart

Single data field(s)

Index marker tags arranged in groups attached to branches

Multiple attached hyperlinks….

Internal navigation links to other map branches

External links to official / definitive / ‘plain old useful’ public domain knowledge resources

.
These are discussed in more detail in sections on each branch type.

Visually Rich 'Knowledge Seed' Branch For Every Month Of The Year

As well as defining the physical and logical layout of the map, the 1st level (‘main’) branches are also ‘knowledge seed branches’ for each month of the year. They are visually rich, with a unique, embedded bespoke image & textual description, as well as an embedded monthly calendar grid showing the days of the month and days of the week (embedded spreadsheets are another of MindManager’s unique features).

The attached elements of a note with any additional information, internal navigation links to all the days of the month sub-branches, external links to public domain resources about the month and happenings thereon, and index marker tags that enable dynamic ‘temporal filtering’ of the map contents (and any other map they are incorporated in), further add to the richness of this ‘knowledge seed branch’.

Visually Rich 'Knowledge Seed' Branch For Every Specific Day Of The Year

Likewise the 2nd level branches are ‘knowledge seed branches’ for each day of the month / year. They are similarly visually rich, with a unique, embedded bespoke image & ‘rich’ (ie. variably formatted) textual description. They may also be coloured differently if they are ‘working week’ or ‘weekend’ days (controlled by a ‘Smart Rule’ involving the ‘Day of the Week’ tag, so easily re-definable by MindManager users).

The attached elements of a note with any additional information, internal links to the ‘parent’ month branch, external links to public domain resources about the generic and specific date and happenings thereon, and index marker tags that enable dynamic ‘temporal filtering’ of the map contents (and any other map they are incorporated in), further add to the richness of this ‘knowledge seed branch’.

Additional Time Interval Sub-branch Collections

Not every day in your life is the same. Sometimes you need to organise your day down to the nearest minute, other days you want to avoid the clock all together.

And in this world of the ‘gig economy‘, the divide between these types of days is no longer the traditional working week or even working day.

Similarly some people want to formally re-structure the traditional calendar year into their own business year, with sequential quarters and maybe weeks. But probably most people won’t.

Thus all of our calendar maps include ‘Additional Time Interval’ map sub-branch collections to cover these scenarios – longer intervals (weeks and quarters) that can be added to the map to further structure the months and days of the year, and shorter intervals (hours, minutes and seconds) to plan / chronicle individual days (and events or projects thereon) to greater detail. Users can add them to the map themselves as required.

Note there are even more compatible branches to build even more timelines available from our Time Templates Map

Map Legend Branch Describes Each Topic 'Type' With Links To Further Information

Every map needs to have a legend that explains what you’re looking at – the cartographic structure, colours and symbology used etc. – and our knowledge maps are no different. The ‘MAP LEGEND’ branch describes each ‘type’ of map branch, and all the elements embedded within, and attached to them, with links to further knowledge resources about them where necessary.

User Definable Visual Formatting Using Built-in Topic Styles & Smart Rules

The visual styling of all the map brnaches and embedded / atached elements is controlled using our structured system of Map Themes, Topic Styles and Smart Rules. The structured system makes for easier alteration ‘on the hoof’ and therefore quicker map building.

This means that MindManager software users can change the appearance of the whole map with just a few clicks eg. to match their own ‘in-house’ style & branding.

HTML Version Of Map Also Included As Part Of Product Download

The HTML5 (.html) version of the knowledge map enables all users to start working with the knowledge straight away as all they need is a device with a browser. Although it is read only, it still has all the content – and most of the interactivity – of the original MindManager map (from which it has been exported), and it can be viewed by anybody, in any modern web browser software, on any digital device, without the need for any software plugins, or indeed an internet connection to view it once it has been downloaded (so it can be viewed offline, in remote locations with no signal). Also they can be viewed as stand-alone files or embedded in web pages, on(or off)-line (once downloaded).

Next level – Once users are proficient with using the read-only HTML knowledge maps and feel that they want to take things to the next level by editing or amending them in any way, or even start making their own maps, they can start by working with the original MindManager (.mmap) map file that was also part of the product download (so users need to make sure they download both files!), in conjunction with the free 30 day trial version of MindManager, at any time.

The Different Types of Knowledge Calendar Maps

Once a calendar system had been created and accepted by a society, the next challenge was the devising of practical & accessible ‘calendar tools’ that could easily be accessed & used to record & predict events and – just as importantly – share those recordings & predictions with each other.

Just as different types of ‘calendar tool’ have been created over the length of history (defined as ‘recorded time’) to suit different use cases, we have created different types of calendar map in our range…..

Annual or Generic Years

C The specific Month and Day branches.... C The generic Month and Day branches....

When you think about it, every calendar year contains 365 days (apart from every 4th (‘leap year’) year which has 366 to keep things in step with actual length of Earth’s annual orbit around the Sun). Each month also has the same number of days (28-31), and range of dates eg. Jan 1 to Jan 31 (February in leap years excepted).

Also when you thank about it, most societies are organised through the lens of the ‘working week and working day’, and so one of the primary purposes of a ‘year-specific calendar’ is to tell users which days of the month / dates, fall on which days of the week, in that particular year. However the 4 year ‘leap year cycle’ means that this is not a straightforward repeating pattern each year, so most people are not able to predict ‘off the top of their heads’ which day of the week a particular date will fall on just from knowing the year (eg. “what day is Christmas on this year?”).

That said, sometimes the day of the week is not important and things will happen on that date no matter what.

Thus the initial split between ‘types of calendar’ in our catalogue is between….
.

Annual calendars
These are specific to each individual Gregorian (‘Western’) calendar year (eg. 1 Jan 20205 – 31 Dec 2025), and not only showing which days / dates fall on which days of the week, but also with every specific time interval branch uniquely identified with a rich text label and bespoke icon image that incorporate the day of the week eg. ‘1 Jan 2025 Wed’ .
.

Generic calendars
These depict the general Gregorian (‘Western’) calendar year (eg. 1 Jan – 31 Dec) and can be used for any year, ever (well, within the logic & history of that particular calendar system that is). They too have every generic time interval branch uniquely identified with a rich text label and bespoke icon image eg. ‘1 Jan. However they obviously cannot incorporate the days of the week for particular dates, though there’s nothing to stop MindManager users adding them themselves once they know which particular year they are mapping (but without them being part of the icons).

.
Thus we offer both generic and annual calendars, but with the following caveat….
Obviously there is only one generic year, so the generic calendar map only needs to be created once, whilst the annual calendar (and any variations thereof) has to be created for each year individually (see earlier comment about the disruptive pattern of ‘leap years’). This takes takes time and effort (for example all the icon images are bespoke).

Note our aspiration is to always have annual calendars for the next 10 years available in our map store, but if there isn’t one for the particular year you want currently in our catalogue, you can request we create it. In the meantime though you can still use the generic calendar to get started on whatever temporal mapping project you had in mind.

Base or Basic Knowledgebase

Image_Calendar_Base_Overview_Everything_1920x1080 C The specific Month and Day branches....
Image_Calendar_Generic-Base_Overview_Everything_1920x1080 C The generic Month and Day branches....

So traditionally a physical calendar ‘was all about the visuals’ telling you what day of the year is on what day of the week, usually with a picture of a nice landscape or a cute dog (or occasionally something a bit more risque) for each month. Hopefully there’s also a bit of space to write something in yourself about what’s happening that day (but it is amazing how many calendars in which that’s not the case).

Even digital calendars on your phone or computer don’t offer much space to record information beyond the event name, time, location and a plain text ‘notes’ field with a limted number of characters at best, or much in the way of interactivity.

And neither physical nor digital is offering you any information about the actual day and date itself as a matter of course.

But as discussed in the previous section, MindManager offers many ways of encoding knowledge in map branches – through visual formatting, or embedding / attaching individual elements including multiple hyperlinks to official / definitive / ‘plain old useful’ public domain knowledge resources about the branch subject itself (in this case months and days of the generic or specific annual calendar year). So why not take advantage of them to go beyond the ‘basic visuals’ previously offered by the calendar genre?

Thus this gives rise to next split between our knowledge calendar map offerings….
.

Base Calendar
‘The visuals’ plus all the embedded / attached, unique to MindManager extras , for when you want to have everything at your disposal….
Rich (variably formatted) branch text labels
Unique, bespoke branch icon images

Note, with any additional information
Embedded Monthly Calendar (Spreadsheet Table) Grid
Multiple Index Marker Tags related to the various time intervals arranged in groups attached to branches
Multiple Internal Navigation Links to other map branches
Multiple External links to official / definitive / ‘plain old useful’ public domain knowledge resources about the month or day (including ‘on this day/month in history’ type sites like Days of the Year, National Today,  On This Day, Time and Date and Wikipedia articles on the Generic and Specific Day of the Year)

.

Basic Calendar
For when all you need is the visuals and/or you just want to keep things as simple as possible. So the Base Calendar ‘stripped back’ to ‘just the visuals’…
Rich (variabkly formatted) branch text labels
Unique branch images
Note, with any additional information
.
Thus we offer ‘Base’ and ‘Basic’ versions of both our Generic Calendars and the Annual Calendar for each individual year to give users the choice of ‘different horses for different courses’.

MindManager users can of course ‘mix and match’ contents between the 2, perhaps starting with a ‘cleans slate’ Basic Calendar then selectively adding the additional branch content from the Base Calendar they wish to suit their particular project.

With World Events or Without (Base)

Image_Calendar_2019_General_Overview-1c_1920x1080 C The specific Month and Day branches....

So as discussed in the previous ‘Base or Basic Knowledgebase’ section, amongst the multiple external links attached to the month and day branches of our Base Knowledge Calendar maps are to ‘on this (both generic & specific) day / month in history’ type public domain knowledge resources such as Days of the Year, National Today, On This Day, Time and Date and Wikipedia articles on the Generic and Specific Day of the Year

So given that we now have the base visual knowledge framework of months and days established, and MindManager has more than enough capacity for the additional branches, it’s a logical extension of our calendar creation process (and our ongoing mission to ‘map the building blocks of our world’) to ‘knowledge map’ the most important events covered by these sites.

This gives rise to the next split between our knowledge calendar map offerings….
.

Base
Calendar
As per the previous ‘Base or Basic Knowledgebase” section. A ‘knowledge rich’ base framework of month and day knowledge seed branches, just waiting to be ‘built out on top of’….
Rich (variably
formatted) branch text labels
Unique, bespoke branch icon images
Note, with any additional information
Embedded Monthly Calendar (Spreadsheet Table) Grid
Multiple Index Marker Tags related to the various time intervals arranged in groups attached to branches
Multiple Internal Navigation Links to other map branches
Multiple External links to official / definitive / ‘plain old useful’ public domain knowledge resources about the month or day (including ‘on this day/month in history’ type sites like Days of the Year, National Today,  On This Day, Time and Date and Wikipedia articles on the Generic and Specific Day of the Year)
.

.

World Events Calendar
The Annual Base map for the specific year with the addition of over 600 (and counting) internationally publicly significant, annually recurring diary events – in the form of knowledge seed sub-branches off of the relevant Day of the Year branch – such as….

  • Astronomical events such as the phases of the moon, seasonal equinoxes etc.
  • Religious Observances & festivals of the major world religions (Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish & Muslim)
  • General Civil Observances of traditional holidays & public celebrations
  • ‘World Awareness Days’ designated to raise public awareness around / celebrate globally important cultural, environmental, food & drink, health, human rights issues, professions and acts of remembrance; which also also includes…
  • United Nations (UN) official Observance Days – as well as UN Observance Weeks, Years & Decades with over 260 having been created by the various organs of the UN System since it’s founding in 1945 to raise awareness of & educate the general public on issues of concern, to mobilize political will & resources to address global problems, and to celebrate & reinforce achievements of humanity.
  • ‘National days’ of all 249 official ISO3166-1 Country & Territory in the World.

.
Each ‘Event knowledge seed branch’ has the hopefully now familiar mix of additional embedded / attached knowledge elements….

Rich (variably formatted) branch text labels

Icon images for each type of event

Note with background information (including further external links) about the event

Multiple Index Map Markers arranged into groups that tag event branches by type (e.g. General Civil, Astonomic etc.), geographic extent (e.g. Global, Regional, National), year first celebrated amongst other things to add context, facilitate internal map navigation and enable filtering on any tag combination to show / hide only those branches with those tags.

Multiple external hyperlinks to official / definitive / ‘plain old useful’ online knowledge resources about the event freely available in the public domain.

So as well as giving you even more information to help you plan your personal and / or professional year ahead, our Annual World Events Knowledge Calendar maps are a knowledge portal to those regularly recurring events that shape our day to day lives as individuals, members of  communities, cultures & societies, and ultimately citizens of the world. In these days of globalisation we have never all mixed together as neighbours, colleagues, friends & lovers to the extent we do now, so anything that increases our mutual understanding of where we’ve all come from and where (and when) we all want to go next, can only be welcomed 🙂

So we will offer annual calendars with and without annually recurring events sub-branches, and have already stated our aim is to offer Annual Base Knowledge Calendar maps for at least the next 10 years. However Events maps are a different proposition….

  • the annual base map has to exist first before we can build out on top of it, and we are currently concentrating on creating base maps for all the years up to 2040 first.
  • it takes even more time and effort to create these world events maps….
    • a lot more work is required to research and collate all the events (600+ at time of writing) (eg. we like to create a background summary note for each event, often with further links).
    • not all events occur on a fixed date of the year, and for those that don’t we need to find out the pattern of the timing and document it in the note. For example the timing of many religeous festivals follows the lunar calendar and / or their own cultural calendar eg. the Hebrew Calendar, Islamic Calendar etc.
    • Similarly for events with variable timings, they may not be decided that many years in advance (maybe even just on a year be year basis) by the organisers or ‘religeous high heid yins‘.
    • New events are being created and coming online each year (eg. UN Observances),

.
So at time of writing we do not yet have any Annual World Events Knowledge Calendars on the store (though there are several in pre-prroduction), and nor have we decided on how many years in advance we will stock. However we are actively exploring the possibilities and it will probably be at least ‘this year’ and ‘next year’, and maybe ‘the year after that’ in the first instance. As mentioned above there are disadvantages to ‘being too far ahaead of yourself’ when it comes to annual events.

Standard or Academic / Business Year Layout

Image_Calendar_Generic-Base_Overview_Central-Months-and-Days_Standard_150_1920x1080 Image_Calendar_Generic-Base_Overview_Central-Months-and-Days_Academic_150_1920x1080

So the Standard Gregorian Calendar Year – which runs from January 1st to December 31st – is not the only ‘year’ in common use. Businesses, institutions and other bodies use the ‘Business / Financial / Accounting Year‘ to organise all things to with their finances & budgetary cycle, and so also their financial reporting for internal performance & delivery, and external taxation. A ‘business year’ still runs for 12 months, but can begin at the start of any month of the standard calendar year, and run for ther next 12 months until the following standard calendar year. For example the Knowledge Mappers business year runs from February 1st to January 31st.

This means that there are 12 possible business years, each starting on a different month of the calendar year.

It is therefore impractical for us to offer our Calendar Maps in every Business Year format. But there is nothing to stop MindManager users from ‘mixing and matching’ the months and day branches from sequential Annual Calendar maps, or just re-arranging a Generic Calendar map, to create one for any Business Year they want. And as already discussed in the Features section above, there are Additional Time Interval Sub-branch Collections included with every calendar map that can be can used to physically re-structure and / or tag the months and day branches to add quarters and weeks into to it, which are commonly used to subdivide the business year.

That said, we are all familiar with the most common example of a Business Year, and that is the Academic (or ‘School’) Year, which educational institutions like schools, colleges and universities use to organise their ‘business of eduction’ year into teaching terms and non-teaching holidays. In countries in the northern hemisphere at least, the academic year usually starts ‘at the end of the summer holidays’, with the first teaching term starting on a day in the month of August or September, and the last teaching term ending on a day in June or July the following year (leading in to the long summer break and then the repeating of the whole cycle).

This gives rise to the final split between our knowledge calendar map offerings….

.

‘Standard Year Layout’
As per all the maps discussed so far, with the (generic or specific) months of the year running from January to December going from left to right.

.

‘Acadmic (‘School’) Year’ Layout
For the Generic Calendars only (both Base and Basic), we have created an alternative layout with the months running from August to July from left to right, which is the ‘Scottish School Year’ (where we are based).

Of course, as discussed previously, Calendars for Generic years are ‘one and done’. We could do the same with our Annual Calendars, but that would involve more work and the doubling of the number of products in our calendar category. And there are other annual calendar map types that we need to create first before we would even start doing this. And finally we’re not even sure if there is a demand for a universal ‘off the shelf’ annual academic calendar (ie. with the months running from August to July) when folks could easily make their own running starting from whatever month they want using the methodology outlined above for Business Years.

If you have a strong opinion either way about us also offering  our Annual calendars in an ‘Academic (‘School’) Year’ layout, for please get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.

Use Cases

This is the first sentence of this blog post section. Add the rest yourself….

Standard Calendar Maps show months and days all uniquely identified by year, month, day and day of the week graphic and textual description. There are also over 300 further sub-branches showing selected diary events of international public significance which contain links to the relevant web page(s) about them (eg. Wikipedia, United Nations). Events include:-

  • Astronomical Events (lunar cycles, equinoxes etc.)
  • Commemorative Days
  • Cultural / Environmental / Health / Human Rights Issue Awareness Days
  • Profession Awareness Days
  • Major Religious Festivals
  • United Nations Official Days
  • Civil Observances

There are also nationally significant days & public holidays specific to a particular country. Currently we cover the United Kingdom and the United States, but there is also a general edition without national events for each year so you can add those for your own particular country.
Use our Standard Calendars to help you have your best, most organised (and most informed!) year ever! Obviously with unique graphics and over 300 diary events these maps take a lot more effort to create, however we aim to have Standard Calendars available on our website for the next 2 years at least (but we will create them for later years if you want, just get in touch).

Uses of Our Calendar Maps

The uses of of our calendar maps are at least 3-fold (but I am sure you can think of more):-

  • Stand-Alone Calendars – They can be used as stand-alone calendar maps to record whatever you would want to in as much chronological detail as you require, be it for work, family, hobbies, personal journal or blog, whatever.
  • Source Templates – They can be used as a source template to add calendar branches to other maps. The fact that entries can incorporate hyperlinks to websites or other documents, text and images as well as extracts from other maps, and that significant public events are already listed (even for events that shift around the calendar every year eg. Easter), makes it a very powerful tool for self-organisation, forward planning and time management. Just as importantly though it will serve as a fantastic historical record of your year, not to mention digital archiving tool.
  • Public Education Resources – Users can discover further information about the public events in the world and perhaps make a connection that they wouldn’t otherwise have done.

  • Infinite space space & levels to add your own information – why ‘just’ record that an event is happening on a particular day, when you have all the space and the visual nuance you need to actually run the event from your calendar (which remember is going to become you future archive)?

Specific Tips For Use

  1. Using the FREE Time Related Template Map included in the download with any Calendar Map, “mix & match” the branches to create days of sufficient chronological detail to suit your purpose eg. copy and paste the “minutes in an hour” into each “hours in a day” branch and copy all of them onto the day branches of the calendar map to plan your day to the nearest minute! (Note during “copy and paste” the formatting of the branch contents will change to that of the theme of the map you are adding to).
  2. Create an “Annual Planner” map using our FREE Generic Calendar Map to keep a permanent record of events that always recur on the same date every year, such as birthdays, or have some other predictable occurrence eg. a hobby club that meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, or a festival that always takes place over the Easter holidays. If you then maintain this Annual Planner map as a “living document” that is always to hand (eg. by putting it on your online “Mindjet Connect” account), you can then simply copy and paste branches to your new diary map to get a “heads-up” for planning the forthcoming year.
Note: A good tip is to insert a hyperlink to the relevant webpage on the branch of the Planner Map (eg. the club events or diary page) so that you can easily take note of the exact dates of future events when you come to fill out your new diary map for the forthcoming year.
  3. NOTE: WE WOULD ALWAYS RECOMMEND USERS WORK ON A DUPLICATE COPY OF THE MAP SO THEY WILL STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL AS A STARTING POINT FOR SUBSEQUENT RESEARCH PROJECTS.
